We found out today that the parking located closest to the Oread will only be available by pay only ($1 an hour) for the wedding, which is unfortunate. We figure we have 5 options when it comes to parking for the wedding:
1st option: Park in the Kansas Union and prepay $1 per hour
2nd option: Valet Parking from the Oread, which is $5 for the night
3rd option: Find parking on the street near the Oread
4th option: GSP & Corbin, free parking located at: 500 West 11th Street, about a fourth mile from the Oread
5th Option: Spencer Art Museum, free parking located at: 1301 Mississippi Street, it is across from parking garage. Just take the elevator all the way up and head to the right, the Oread is right there.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, the Kansas Union was free in the summer until this year. We are sure everyone will find a spot!
*Also, we hope to have a golf cart shuttle from GSP & Corbin to the Oread, more details to come.
